Step-up / step-down voltage converter Pololu S13V10F5 with soldered male goldpin connectors. The output voltage of the converter is 5 V, and its current efficiency is 1 A. The input voltage range is 2.8V to 22V . Step-up / step-down converters are useful in applications where the supply voltage can vary considerably, such as with batteries. The regulator's efficiency ranges from 85% to 95% and can deliver approx. 1 A current depending on the input voltage. The converter is equipped with an undervoltage lock, output overvoltage protection and overcurrent protection. The overtemperature shutdown function also helps prevent damage from overheating, while the soft-start function limits the inrush current and gradually increases the output voltage during startup.

The voltage regulator module is equipped with three connectors: input voltage (VIN) , ground (GND) and output voltage (VOUT) . The input voltage (VIN) range is 2.8 V to 22 V. The VOUT connector provides 5 V output voltage from the inverter. The module has a soldered goldpin male strip. With it, the module can be plugged directly into the breadboard .

The maximum value of the output current reached by the controller varies with the input voltage, but also depends on other factors such as ambient temperature, air flow and heat absorption.
