MIDI KIT - Shield dla Arduino - SparkFun DEV-12898

Module to connect the Arduino via MIDI Protocol. This interface is used to exchange information with synthesizers, sequencers and other popular music devices. Board communicates with Arduino through serial communication UART (RX and TX pins).

The MIDI Shield provides optoisoaltion between the pins of the Arduino (RX, TX), andMIDI output and input (MIDI-OUT, MIDI-IN). Connector of board compatible with the pins ofUnoandLeonardo, which means that the Shield can be mounted directly on the Arduino.

The manufacturer provides asample program for Arduino, the network has also availableArduino MIDI tutorial.

• Two potentiometers connected to analog inputs of Arduino. They can be used to adjust the volume, tones or anything else.
• Three buttons at the user disposal - connected to the inputs D2, D3 and D4 of Arduino.
• RESET button.
• Switch RUN/PROG - it allows to program the Arduino without removing the shield.
• Status LEDs - red and green.

Attention!

• In case of using the Arduino Pro, to provide the desired voltage, necessary is to mount the resistors on the TX and RX lines.
• Set for self-assembly requires soldering ofbasic electronic components. The kit includes no connectors for Arduino, theycan be purchased separately.
