Approved in accordance with UN R129/03 (i-Size), it has a redesigned seat area to offer an optimal performance in the event of an impact.
Optimised seating area.
The seating area has been redesigned in close partnership with leading car manufacturers to help reduce neck loads by up to 10%, according to Britax Römer´s internal tests with a Q10 dummy, representing an average 10 year old child.
Our engineers have used Human Body Model analysis to ensure the seat is designed to be comfotable for both young and older children.
Result is better ergonomics, restful rides for all.
Easily adjustable ergonomic headrest.
The headrest has been specifically designed to offer maximum comfort for children and can be easily adjusted to the correct position.
Helpful markings at the back of the headrest guide parents to find the right headrest height every time they change the car seat or if they are transporting different children in the same seat.
Highback booster protection.
Our highback boosters protect the child in three ways:
the shell provides protection, especially in the event of a side impact.
the upper and lower belt guides provide the correct position of the seat belt.
and the padded headrest ensures safety and comfort for the child´s head and neck.
Air ventilation.
To ensure the child´s comfort even on long journeys, there are carefully positioned ventilation holes in the shell to provide increased air circulation.
Installation with Isofix or belt.
The KIDFIX M i-SIZE offers two installation options:
- Isofix and 3-point belt, on i-Size approved seats or those listed in the Britax Römer Fit Finder.
- 3-point belt of the vehicle, universal approval.
Removable cover.
It´s easy for the car seat to get dirty:
you might spill a drink or your child might get carsick.
That´s why we´ve designed a cover that´s easy to remove and machine washable.
Three seats in a row.
With a width of 44 cm, it is possible to fit three seats in the rear seats of many cars, especially those with i-Size seats or ISOFIX in all three seats.
